asoundlib.h precompiled with different headers.

Does this mean that the capture device is installed incorrectly (like tabs or something)?
Can I detect if ANY audio device available to alsa is installed?
I figured out how to search for devices using: programmatic search for audio vCards available on Linux
cardNum: 0 by itself, but I still fail with
snd_ctl_open(&cardHandle, "hw:0", 0) in addition to
snd_pcm_open(&pcm_Handle, "hw:0,0", SND_PCM_STREAM_CAPTURE, 0) with
No such file or directory code>. Is this a sign that a quality device is installed incorrectly?

I remember running the snddevices script which flagged the alsa version of the SoC, but unfortunately I wasn’t sure if that actually worked or if you were just supposed to show errors. But the link says I need to install the following? Unfortunately, I won’t be able to test the driver until tomorrow.
